In our work I have decided to avoid using the word "Tantra" because it means different things to different people and comes along with expectations and prejudices. To those that have studied historical Tantra, it is a whole philosophical worldview, the Indian counterpart to what was Taoism in China. To contemporary Hindus it suggests ritualistic sexual orgies, while Buddhists associate it with monastic celibacy. For Americans it implies a new age approach to improving your sex life, and not much more. I just feel like you can't use that term without giving some people the wrong idea. . . . . Anonymous Artist
